Clarification Text on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data

As PHASELİS GIDA SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("Phaselis Olive" or the "Company"), we attach great importance to the security and confidentiality of the personal data of our customers, website visitors, and business partners within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("PDPL") and relevant legislation. With this Clarification Text, pursuant to Article 10 of the PDPL, we aim to inform you about the methods of collection, purposes of processing, recipients of transfer, and your legal rights regarding your personal data.

In accordance with the PDPL, the data controller is PHASELİS GIDA SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ, whose information is provided above and which is the operator of the phaselisolive.com website.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

• Increasing customer satisfaction, managing and resolving requests and complaints,

• Informing you about our company's campaigns, discounts, and innovations, provided that communication permission/consent is obtained.

3. Categories of Processed Personal Data

The types of personal data processed by our company are as follows:

• Identity Information: Name, surname, title.
• Contact Information: Phone number, email address, delivery and billing addresses.
• Customer Transaction Information: Order history, cart contents, request and complaint information.
• Financial Information: Payment method, bank/credit card information (Since the payment infrastructure is provided by secure payment service providers, full card details are not stored on our company servers).

4. Method of Collection and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is collected electronically through the phaselisolive.com website by creating a membership, placing an order, filling out electronic forms, or through call center and email channels, using automated or non-automated methods. This data is processed based on the legal grounds specified in Article 5 of the PDPL: "being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract", "enabling the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations", and "being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the basic rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed".

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to cargo and logistics companies (for product delivery), e-commerce infrastructure and hosting providers, our financial advisor and independent auditors, payment service providers and banks, and authorized public institutions and organizations as required by legal obligations, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL, to fulfill the purposes specified above.

6. Your Rights Under Article 11 of the PDPL

Pursuant to Article 11 of the PDPL, as the data subject, you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• To request information regarding the processing of your personal data if it has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• To request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
• To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the conditions provided for in the PDPL legislation,
• To request notification of the actions taken by the third parties to whom the data has been transferred pursuant to the two preceding items,
• To object to a result produced solely by automated means that is unfavorable to you,
• To request compensation for damages suffered due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
